About
how it started
It all began with a compost pile and a love of design. After leaving the interior design world, I longed to reconnect with nature. I moved to the West Coast and discovered permaculture, which sparked a deep desire to work with the earth.
I found myself living next door to a flower shop, and the rest unfolded organically. With perfectly good blooms rescued from discarded weekly arrangements, I foraged to my heartβs content and began arranging flowers in my tiny home next door. It quickly became a passion I couldnβt live without.
Seven years and countless hours laterβfully immersed in what florists call anthomaniaβI took over the studio, along with that luscious compost pile, and renamed her my beloved, Pollen & Company.
who I am
I am an interior designer turned florist thanks to the wild west coast: the sound of rain, salty air & starry nights, little mushrooms, big mountains and the song of the ocean. Surrounded by nature with flowers in hand is my happy place.
